What’s been happening:

After joining AT&T in 1981 I've pursued an BSEE at Fairleigh Dickinson University at night for 9 years followed by a one year on campus paid by AT&T in 1990 at Cornell University for a degree in Masters of Engineering in Electrical Engineering. Many years of good times and advancement working for AT&T followed by Lucent Technologies and finally Alcatel-Lucent Technologies. During that time I've traveled the world from numerous locations including Alaska, Sweden, France, Germany, Japan and Switzerland working on the designs of CDMA deployed throughout the Verizon wireless network and internationally. Married with two boys who are die-hard Penn State fans (yet not the wife). I still enjoy getting up to Happy Valley for an occasional big game - even if it is sitting out in the camper area listening to the crowd. One final note - Joepa will eventually retire, in the mean time, respect the man for all he has done for the school, the football program and the students.
